1. Who we are
These terms govern your use of the ascend.bg website and the tools available on it, operated by Ascend ("we", "us"). You can reach us at contact@ascend.bg.
By using the site or any of its tools you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
2. Our services
Ascend provides web development, AI automation and creative production services. Engagements for those services are governed by individual proposals and contracts; this document covers the public website and the self-service tools on it.
3. Ascend Publisher and the TikTok integration
Ascend Publisher lets you connect your own TikTok account and publish video content to it — either directly to your profile or as a draft delivered to your TikTok app inbox.
Authorization happens through TikTok's own login (Login Kit). We never see or store your TikTok password. The access tokens TikTok issues are kept in an encrypted session cookie in your browser; our servers use them only to carry out the publish action you explicitly request and retain no copy afterwards.
Video files you upload pass through a private staging store only for as long as needed to transfer them to TikTok and are deleted immediately after the transfer completes or fails.
You act on your own account and on your own instruction. You are responsible for the content you publish, including compliance with TikTok's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines and Music Usage Confirmation, and with applicable law. You can revoke the tool's access at any time from your TikTok security settings, and disconnect in the tool itself.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the site or its tools to publish unlawful, infringing or deceptive content, to spam, to circumvent platform rules, or to access accounts you are not authorized to manage. We may suspend access to the tools if we reasonably believe these terms are being violated.
5. Intellectual property
The site, its design and its code are our property or licensed to us. Content you upload or publish remains yours; you grant us only the technical permission needed to transfer it to TikTok on your instruction.
6. Disclaimer and liability
The tools are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. TikTok's platform, review systems and APIs are outside our control, and we do not guarantee that a given video will be accepted, published or remain available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site or tools.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date above reflects the latest revision; material changes to the Publisher tool's data handling will be announced on this page.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria. Any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent Bulgarian courts.
