Ascend does not use traditional tracking cookies. Our analytics provider, Vercel Analytics, is privacy-first and cookieless: it collects anonymous aggregate data (pages visited, country, device type) without placing any cookies on your device.
We store one item in your browser's localStorage: your cookie consent preference (the 'cookie-consent' key). This is strictly functional — it remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics so we don't ask again on every visit.

Analytics (Vercel Analytics): To understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. Data is anonymous and aggregate — no personal data is involved.
Consent memory (localStorage): To remember your privacy preference so the consent banner does not appear on every page load.
4. Third Parties
Vercel Analytics data is processed by Vercel Inc. under their Privacy Policy. No data is shared with advertising networks, social platforms, or data brokers.
5. Retention
localStorage entries persist until you clear your browser storage or revoke consent via the banner. Anonymous analytics data is retained by Vercel for up to 12 months.
6. Your Rights
Under the GDPR and Bulgarian data protection law you have the right to: access the data held about you, request erasure, and withdraw consent at any time. To withdraw consent, clear your browser's localStorage or use your browser's privacy controls.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP) at www.cpdp.bg.
7. How to Manage or Withdraw Consent
You can withdraw analytics consent at any time by clearing localStorage in your browser's developer tools or by using your browser's 'Clear site data' option. After clearing, the consent banner will reappear on your next visit.
Most modern browsers also allow you to block or delete localStorage entries per site via their privacy or developer settings.
