What permissions does the tool ask for?
Three TikTok scopes: basic profile info (your display name and avatar), uploading videos as drafts, and publishing videos. Nothing else — no reading your messages, followers or analytics. Revoke access any time under Settings → Security → Apps in TikTok.
Where are my TikTok credentials stored?
In an encrypted session cookie in your own browser. Our servers use it only for the moment of publishing and keep no copy. Signing out deletes it.
What happens to my video files?
They pass through a private staging store just long enough to hand them to TikTok, then they're deleted. We don't build a library of your content.
What does it cost?
Nothing — Ascend Publisher is free while in beta. If that changes, existing users will be told well in advance.
